Step 1: First, you will need to get a cloth and white vinegar or citric acids.

Step 2: Next pour one cup vinegar into a kettle and let it boil.

The vinegar will heat the aluminium and dissolve the limescale. The steam created by boiling will clean out the kettle. To keep the kettle clean, it is recommended to clean it once every 6 months.

Step 3: After boiling is completed, allow the vinegar to cool in the kettle. Then pour it down the sink.

A good tip is to use some baking soda in the sink before pouring the vinegar.

Step 4: If lime scale remains at the bottom of your kettle, you may need to take a cloth and dampen it before you dip it into the bicarbonate. This will allow you to scrape the kettle cleanly by removing any lime scale.

Step 5- Rinse your kettle well a few times, and then boil it once more to remove any lime scale.
